Skills for Project

Before creating the brochure the students would plan out what they wanted to include on their brochures. I think I might have them mock up each side of their brochure. This will give them an opportunity to check spelling and correctness of the information they are using. It will also give them an idea about what they want for illustrations.

The skills that I would need to teach the students to create a brochure would include setting up the brochure format. After that they would need to review how to bring in a text box, how to insert clip art or import photos to use as illustrations. They would probably need to review how to check their spelling and punctuation. Creating backgrounds and formatting their work would also have to be reviewed.

Project Ideas

This was very interesting searching through all these different sites.

My essential question is going to be "How can I be a healthier individual?"

That's what I'm thinking right now. Students will need to be able to choose a way to become healthier and explain thre choice to others.
